Why are we called Queen City FC? Helena, Montana is known as the "Queen City of the Rockies" because of its rapid growth after the discovery of gold in 1864. We are proud to represent Helena and feel that we also discovered gold, in our players in our 2016 inception.
Why do we wear the marron and gold! These colors are representative of Helena High and Capital High. QCFC is a place where school division can be placed aside and our players can be one family.
Why are QCFC players called Royals? No, they are not kings and queens. But they are many things that are royal. They are powerful; they are granted the power to make their own decisions on the field. They are dignified; meaning they act in an honorable, worthy way, showing self-respect and respect for others And they belong to the kingdom of our family, the QCFC family.
