QCFC Competitive Teams will also participate in the QCFC Jamboree on June 1 and are encouraged to attend the annual banquet on June 19. Information below.
Why are we called Queen City FC? Helena is known as the "Queen City of the Rockies" because of its rapid growth after the discovery of gold in 1864. We are proud to represent Helena and feel that we also discovered gold, in our players in our 2016 inception.
Why marron and gold? These colors represent Helena High and Capital High. QCFC is a place where school division can be placed aside and our players can be one family.
Why are QCFC players called Royals? No, they are not kings and queens. But they are many things that are royal. They are powerful; they are granted the power to make their own decisions on the field. They are dignified; meaning they act in an honorable, worthy way, showing self-respect and respect for others.
And they belong to the kingdom of our family, the QCFC family.
Every year Queen City FC ends the season with a bang. We believe it is important to gather our families for fellowship and celebration. Our players, parents, coaches, referees, administrators, and even those siblings who get drug to the park, all worked hard and made for a successful soccer season. We invite you all to come party with us!
The QCFC Annual Banquet is held at the Helena Civic Center Ballroom. We provide a buffet of food, desserts, and drinks. There is a presentation that includes awards and a slide show. The 'best dressed' competition is a long-running favorite, and music and dancing end the night.
Players, coaches, and referees are FREE. Friends and family are only $10.
The end of season Soccer Jamboree is a day for fun! Bring the whole family for a day of food, contests, games, and soccer. The Jamboree kicks off at 2pm. The players will have soccer games, of course. But we also will have activities for everyone: skills course, soccer tennis, soccer pool, soccer cornhole, soccer bowling, and more. Plus leaderboards for things like 'most juggles' or 'fastest dribble'. The day will end with food. Plan ahead so you don't miss out.
